  I have a solution for achieving the height of the 2-5/16" Hitch Ball w/ 2" Rise - 1-1/4" Diameter x 2-5/8" Long Shank - Raw - 25K item # C40087 you were looking at but there aren't any high rise 2-5/16" hitch balls with a 1" shank. However, the top of the Curt RockerBall Shock Absorbing 2-5/16" Hitch Ball - 1" Diameter Shank - Chrome - 7.5K item # C82KR sits 4.6" above the ball mount. The high rise you were looking at sits 5" above the ball mount.

  I pulled one of the Curt Hitch Balls, part # C40087 from our warehouse and took a couple of measurements for you. I have attached a photo of the hitch ball with the dimensions noted. As the photo shows, the 2 inches is measured from the top of the shank to the edge of the hitch ball body at the point it starts to flare. This is a 2-5/16 inch diameter ball and the shank diameter is 1-1/4 inches and 2-5/8 inches long. this hitch ball has a capacity of 25,000 lbs.

  We have Brophy hitch ball # CB28Z which is a 2-inch ball with 1-inch of rise. This ball has a 1-1/4-inch diameter shank that is 2-1/2-inches long. We also have Curt 2-inch ball # C40034 which has a 1-inch diameter shank that is 2-1/8-inches long. This can be used with Reducer Bushing # F-2. If you cannot find a hitch ball that matches your requirements you might just change out your ball mount to one with 2-inches more rise or use an adjustable one.
